How a run goes

Three levels. The first two are free.

Level 1Free

Scan

SweepBar lives in your menu bar and shows your free space live. Open it and it lists the developer files that are safe to delete.

Level 2Free

Review

Every row says what it is and how big it is. Anything with a cost, like old simulators or forgotten projects, starts unticked.

Level 3$5.99 once

Sweep

One click clears what you ticked. It asks first, and it skips anything an app or tool is using right now.

House rules

What SweepBar will never do

Source code is off-limits.

SweepBar never lists your code, documents, photos or chat histories. The forgotten-projects cleanup removes only generated folders and, in git projects, only the ones git ignores.

Nothing goes without a yes.

You see every item with its size, then confirm. Deleted files skip the Trash, so that confirmation is your safety net.

In use? Skipped.

If Xcode, Cursor or a package manager is running, its rows grey out until it is done.

It stays on your Mac.

No account, no analytics, no tracking. What it reads never leaves your computer.

Help

Questions

Is it safe? Will it delete my code?

SweepBar only removes caches and generated folders that the tool that made them rebuilds by itself. It never lists your source code, documents or chat histories, it asks before deleting anything, and it skips caches that an app or tool is using at that moment.

What is free and what costs money?

The menu bar number and the scan are free: you always see how much space you can win back. Sweeping, the actual deleting, is a one-time $5.99 purchase.

Do I get future updates?

Yes, all of them. The $5.99 Lifetime price covers every future version.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 7 days of buying. Email info@egetechnology.net and we will refund you.

Which Macs does SweepBar run on?

macOS 15 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Does SweepBar collect my data?

No. Everything it looks at stays on your Mac, and there are no accounts, analytics or tracking. The privacy page lists the few times it uses the internet: buying, activating your license and checking for updates.

What happens if I clear something I still needed?

Most items grow back on their own the next time you build or install, for example Xcode build caches or the npm cache. Items that do not are marked "Resets" or "Reinstalls", and the ones with a cost, like simulator data and old project folders, start unticked.
